The organization CLUES presents a 4-week series workshop on youth health and sex education for Hiawatha Academies families.
Dates:
- Workshop 1: March 2
- Workshop 2: March 9
- Workshop 3: March 16
- Workshop 4: March 23
You must attend all workshops to receive a certificate. However, you can still participate even if you aren't able to attend all of the workshops.
Join us to learn about:
- Sexuality
- Anatomy
- Gender
- Healthy relationships
- And how it relates to child development.
Strengthen your knowledge and communication skills when talking to your children about taboo topics like sex.
Gain tools to answer your child’s questions and use “teachable moments” in daily life to share information and discuss values.
Meet other Hiawatha parents, form networks of support, and build community with other families.

La organización CLUES presenta una serie de talleres de 4 semanas para familias vía zoom.
Fechas: Jueves Marzo 2, 9, 16 y 23, 2023
Debe asistir a todos los talleres para recibir un certificado, pero aún puede participar incluso si sabe que no podrá asistir a todos los talleres.
Únase a nosotros para aprender sobre:
- La sexualidad
- La anatomía
- El género
- Las relaciones saludables
- Y cómo se relaciona con el desarrollo de los niños.
Fortalecer sus conocimientos y la comunicación para cuando le toque hablar de temas tabúes como el sexo.
Desarrollar la confianza y las habilidades para responder a las preguntas de sus hijos, y aprovechar de oportunidades para darles información o hablar de los valores.
Conocer y convivir con otros padres de Hiawatha para formar redes de apoyo y crear comunidad.
