Community Partners and Support: Minnesota Peace Building and Minnesota Department of Education.
Goal:
To provide an overview of restorative mindset, principles, and key practices. To introduce and practice the restorative language and questions and consider how to embed best restorative practices in the educational and family setting.
Objectives:
Participants gain knowledge and practice skills in:
- Restorative language and framework
- Restorative principles and circle practices
- Self-reflection tools
Details
The trainings will include one online and one in-person facilitation by our trainers, with the use of
- Google Slides and resources
- Whole group and break out room work
- Discussion and self-reflection activities
- Q & A and opportunities for one-to-one queries

- Understand Restorative Practices (theory, definitions, and principals)
- Apply Social Discipline Window to Family Practices
