Hiawatha scholars take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) beginning in the 3rd Grade. We consider ourselves a data-driven organization in which results, including Interim student assessments modeled after the MCA, help guide instruction and target skills students need to master. 

While our students’ results are substantial, Hiawatha Academies will not rest until 100% of our scholars are proficient.
